Abstract:
Provided is an operation device for sunshade equipment such that the behavior of a resident or the like is not disturbed, and that safety can be improved. A pulley is composed of a first pulley piece (15a) and a second pulley piece (15b). If an excessive tensile force acts on an operation cord (7) suspended from the pulley, said excessive tensile force being one which exceeds the tensile force that acts on said operation cord (7) during normal operation, then the first pulley piece (15a) and the second pulley piece (15b) are made to separate from each other, resulting in the operation cord (7) being able to come off the pulley.
