Abstract:
This operation display device (150) of a washing machine (200) is provided with a touch panel display unit (38) which comprises a liquid crystal panel (34) that displays wash, rinse, and drain setting conditions, and setting buttons, and a transparent plate (31) arranged over the liquid crystal panel (34) and having a transparent electrode (33), wherein operations are performed when the transparent plate (31) is touched with the finger. Further, provided separately from the touch panel display unit (38) is a press button section (48), wherein operations are performed when the press button section (48) is pressed with the finger; the power-on button (52) for turning on the power of the washing machine (200) is included in the press button section (48).
