Abstract:
This operation input detection device includes an operation input detection unit, a movement detection unit, and a sensor output calibration unit. The operation input detection unit detects an operation input of an operation input unit provided to the surface of a vehicle, on the basis of the sensor output of a capacitance sensor, said sensor output changing as a result of an object to be detected approaching and moving away from the operation input unit. The movement detection unit detects movement of the vehicle. The sensor output calibration unit calibrates the capacitance sensor when movement of the vehicle is detected.
