Abstract:
This operation input detection device is provided with: an operation input unit; a capacitance sensor; an operation input detection unit; and a sensor calibration unit for calibrating the capacitance sensor. The sensor calibration unit is provided with an irregular calibration unit. The irregular calibration unit performs calibration in cases when the sensor output changes in the same direction as when an object to be detected approaches the operation input unit, and exceeds a first threshold value, and subsequently changes in the opposite direction and exceeds a second threshold value set for the opposite direction, within a prescribed time.
