Abstract:
This operation method for electric resistance furnaces includes: defining a plurality of management categories corresponding to temperatures detected by a temperature sensor before starting operation of an electric resistance furnace along with assigning a management task to each management category; determining which of the plurality of management categories corresponds to a detected temperature detected by the temperature sensors after starting operation of the electric resistance furnace; and, after determining the management category corresponding to the detected temperature, performing the management task assigned to the management category. The management task has at least one effect of controlling corrosion of a refractory object in a temperature detection location having elevated detected temperatures and of promoting self-lining formation in the temperature detection location.
