Abstract:
Disclosed is an operation method for improving the performance of a gate tube device. The method comprises: determining a direct-current operating voltage and a limiting current of a gate tube device; applying the operating voltage and the limiting current to the gate tube device, such that the gate tube device circulates under a direct current until an off resistance decreases; continuing to apply the operating voltage and the limiting current to the gate tube device, such that the gate tube device circulates under the direct current until the off resistance decreases to the minimum value; continuing to apply the operating voltage and the limiting current to the gate tube device, such that the gate tube device circulates under the direct current until the off resistance increases; continuing to apply the operating voltage and the limiting current to the gate tube device, such that the gate tube device circulates under the direct current until the off resistance increases to the maximum value; and adjusting the operating voltage and the limiting current to carry out a direct-current operation or a pulse operation on a gate tube. Therefore, the operation stability is effectively improved, a better direct-current circulation characteristic is achieved, and the circulation life of a device is greatly prolonged.
