Abstract:
An operation method for a multi-mode transmitter according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: determining whether to switch a wireless power transmission mode during wireless charging according to a first mode; when switching the wireless power transmission mode is needed, storing a first mode voltage value which is a voltage value of a first mode voltage in the state in which charging according to the first mode is normalized, and reducing the first mode voltage to a minimum first mode voltage; performing wireless charging according to a second mode, and determining a second mode voltage value which is a voltage value of a second mode voltage in the state in which charging according to the second mode is normalized; comparing a threshold voltage and a result obtained by calculation based on the first mode voltage value and the second mode voltage value, in order to determine a final wireless power transmission mode; and performing wireless charging according to the final wireless power transmission mode.
