Abstract:
The present application discloses an operation method for a vehicle-mounted display system and a vehicle-mounted display system. The operation method for a vehicle-mounted display system comprises: a camera hardware interface of the vehicle-mounted display system receiving a video frame from a camera; and the camera hardware interface writing the video frame into a hardware cache, and sending a first message to a display hardware unit only by means of a driving layer, so that a sending path for the first message is shortened to notify the display hardware unit of reading/receiving the video frame, wherein the driving layer comprises a camera driver and a display driver. By means of the method, video display of driving video-assisted functions such as reversing can be achieved at a low delay, so that the real-time performance of display of the vehicle-mounted display system is improved, thereby improving the driving safety.
