Abstract:
Provided is an operation mode selecting device wherein the contact reliability is not reduced for a long period of time if the device is frequently operated, and a predetermined feel obtained by clicking the device can be maintained. In the operation mode selecting device, a plurality of first and second whole ICs (33, 34) are disposed on a printed board (30), and an operation dial (60) provided with a mode selecting magnet (51) having opposite magnetic poles alternately on the same circumference thereof is rotatably supported above the printed board (30). When the operation dial (60) is rotated at a predetermined angle, a clicking feel is applied to an operator, and the magnetic poles of the mode selecting magnet (51) are detected by the first and second whole ICs (33, 34), to output the rotational position of the operation dial (60).
