Abstract:
This system for monitoring a person to be monitored is provided with: a plurality of operation reception devices that receive a prescribed operation; one or more sensor devices that are wirelessly connected to said operation reception devices so as to be capable of communication therewith and detect a prescribed action by a person to be monitored; and a central processing unit that is connected to said sensor devices so as to be capable of communication therewith, performs a corresponding processing when the prescribed operation received by an operation reception device is reported via a sensor device, and manages detected action information relating to the prescribed action reported from the sensor device. In this operation reception device and method, when a communication signal cannot be transmitted to a sensor device, the communication signal is transmitted to the sensor device via an operation reception device other than the operation reception device in question.
