It is possible to perform simple and user-friendly input operation by using input buttons on a keyboard or the like. An operation support computer program causes processing means to execute (1) display of operation guidance information in a region not displaying the image data expressing the operation guidance information so that a user can understand a particular input button and the content of a command executed upon reception of a start operation command when the user firstly presses a modify key in the input means; (2) termination of the display of the operation guidance information upon reception of an end operation command when all themodify keys which have been pressed by the user are released; and (3) reading of a command associated with the information expressing a particular input button which is pressed, when the pressing of the particular input button contained in the button operation information in the storage means is received via the input means during a period from reception of the start operation command until reception of the end operation command corresponding to the start operation command.
