Abstract:
An apparatus for tracking a stop cause of the present invention includes: a history storage unit for storing a changing time point of a value of an operation signal which is inputted from a device of an industrial plant to control logic or protection logic; a signal tracking unit which receives the changing time point of the value of the operation signal from the history storage unit and tracks a cause signal of an abnormal operation according to the changing time point of the value of the operation signal when an output signal of the control logic or the protection logic is changed to a value corresponding to the abnormal operation; and a display unit for displaying the cause signal tracked through the signal tracking unit.
