Abstract:
The invention relates to a foldable or pull-out operative insert for food processing devices and to such a device. In the case of known devices, a tool (2) in the form of a knife is either fixed or can be moved in a rotational direction against the force of a restoring spring about the axis of rotation, which has the disadvantage that the food in the working bowl (4) immediately comes in contact with the foods and a relatively high starting torque is required. The invention prevents this in that the tool (2) is mounted on the support element (1) in a pivot bearing pivotably about a pivot axis (S) running at an angle to the rotational axis (R), and in the rest position (A) is pivoted inward toward the support element (1) and in the operating position (B) is pivoted radially outward away from the support element (2).
