Abstract:
An artifact detection unit of an ophthalmic device according to an illustrative embodiment of the present invention analyzes an OCT image and detects artifacts along the A-scan direction. A first movement control unit moves an OCT optical system on the basis of a detected artifact. A cornea image detection unit analyzes the OCT image and detects a cornea image. A position determination unit determines whether the region shared between the artifact and the cornea image is positioned within a prescribed area in the image frame. An image quality evaluation unit calculates an image quality evaluation value for the OCT image. A scanning control unit controls the OCT optical system such that in cases in which it is determined that the shared region is positioned within the prescribed area in the image frame and the image quality evaluation value is equal to or greater than a prescribed threshold value, OCT scanning using a prescribed pattern is applied to the anterior segment of the eye.
