Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ophthalmic microscope capable of observation and acquisition of a tomographic image of an anterior ocular segment and a posterior ocular segment without causing the positional relationship between an objective lens and a subject eye to fluctuate. The purpose of the present invention is also to provide a function expansion unit capable of integrating, into an ophthalmic microscope having an existing specification, a function whereby an anterior ocular segment and a posterior ocular segment can be observed and a tomographic image thereof acquired without the positional relationship between an objective lens and a subject eye being caused to fluctuate. [Solution] Provided is an ophthalmic microscope provided with: an observation optical system having a first focal point in front of a subject eye; an objective auxiliary lens that can be set in a position further toward the subject-eye side than an objective lens in the observation optical system or released therefrom, the objective auxiliary lens for establishing, as a second focal point which is an anterior ocular segment position of the subject eye, the focal point when the objective auxiliary lens is set; and a front lens that can be set in a position further toward the subject-eye side than the first focal point or released therefrom, the front lens for establishing, as a third focal point which is a posterior ocular segment position of the subject eye, the focal point through the lens of the subject eye when the front lens is set; the objective auxiliary lens being set and the front lens being released during observation of the anterior ocular segment, and the front lens being set and the objective auxiliary lens being released during observation of the posterior ocular segment, without changing the positional relationship between the objective lens and the subject eye.
