Abstract:
Provided is an ophthalmological lens that is fitted in the eye or near the eye, wherein: the ophthalmological lens comprises, on at least one surface, an optical element that includes a wave plate element in which the direction of a phase advancing axis changes depending on the distance from the optical center of such surface; and the direction of the phase advancing axis of the wave plate element is set so that, between a light ray passing through the optical center and a light ray passing through a portion separated from the optical center, a phase difference is added, such phase difference having a different sign for right-handed circularly polarized light and left-handed circularly polarized light.
