Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to reduce the time required for preparation of OCT measurement. A measurement optical system of an ophthalmological observation device according to an embodiment performs an OCT measurement of a subject's eye. An image formation unit forms an image on the basis of information acquired by the OCT measurement. A preliminary operation execution unit executes multiple preliminary operations for performing the OCT measurement. With respect to at least one particular preliminary operation of the multiple preliminary operations, a storage unit stores in advance operation condition information which includes transition condition to another preliminary operation and termination condition of the particular preliminary operation. A control unit controls the preliminary operation execution unit to start the particular preliminary operation, controls the preliminary operation execution unit in response to satisfaction of the transition condition of the particular preliminary operation to start another preliminary operation and controls the preliminary operation execution unit in response to satisfaction of the termination condition of the particular preliminary operation to terminate the particular preliminary operation.
