Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing, for example, a lightweight and easy-to-handle optical absorption anisotropic layer that has a high S/N ratio for producing polarized light with respect to a light beam in the infrared wavelength range, a laminate, and a sensor system including the same. The optical absorption anisotropic layer according to the present invention contains a dichroic dye having a maximum absorption at a wavelength of 700 to 1500 nm. The optical absorption anisotropic layer has an average absorbance of 0.24 to 0.50 at a wavelength of 850 nm, and has a thickness of less than or equal to 5 μm.
