Abstract:
This optical axis control device (100) is provided with: an optical axis control unit (13) which controls the optical axis angle of a headlight (4) provided to a vehicle (1), by calculating the value (ϴv) of the road surface pitch angle relative to the vehicle (1) using detection values (Gx, Gz) from an acceleration sensor (2) provided to the vehicle (1); a vehicle state determination unit (14) which determines whether the vehicle (1) is in a reference state; and a reset signal output unit (15) which outputs a reset signal to the optical axis control unit (13) when it has been determined that the vehicle (1) is in the reference state.
