Abstract:
An optical cable testing device according to the present invention is an optical cable testing device for at least measuring a cutting position of an optical cable, and comprises: a first wavelength tunable laser source (TOS1) for generating a first optical signal in which a plurality of wavelengths alternately and periodically appear; a second wavelength tunable laser source (TOS2) for generating a second optical signal which has the same adjustable delay time as that of the first optical signal; and an interferometer (IFM) for causing inference between a reflecting optical signal, corresponding to the first optical signal, which is returning after having been emitted to the optical cable, and the second optical signal, to output an interfering signal.
