Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a light source 30 for irradiating a sample 20 with light; a standing wave formation unit 40 for forming, in the sample 20, acoustic standing waves perpendicular to the surface of the sample 20, with nodes being located a predetermined distance on the inside from the surface of the sample 20, on which the light from the light source 30 is incident; a detector 50 which is arranged on the same side as the light source 30 with respect to the surface of the sample 20, and which is for detecting light emitted from the surface of the sample 20; and an absorbance calculation unit 74 for finding the absorbance, which is an optical characteristic of the sample, from a detection result of the detector 50 for when the surface of the sample 20 is irradiated with the light in a state where acoustic standing waves are being formed in the sample 20 by the standing wave formation unit 40, and a detection result of the detector 50 for when the surface of the sample 20 is irradiated with the light in a state where acoustic standing waves are not being formed in the sample 20.
