Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical code with which data can be read with a common reading device and which can be read optically, as an information code that can suitably prevent misuse by copying. Data is recorded in the optical code by a pattern of a plurality of bright color modules (2a) having high visible light reflectance and a plurality of dark color modules (2ba, 2bb) having a lower visible light reflectance. At least one of the bright color modules (2a) and the dark color modules (2ba, 2bb) is configured so as to include a first module (2ba) and a second module (2bb) for which the reflectance of non-visible light of a prescribed wavelength differs. Consequently, data is readably recorded as module patterns which are respectively different in a case where visible light is reflected and a case where the prescribed wavelength of non-visible light is reflected.
