Abstract:
Provided is an optical coherence tomography device provided with an OCT optical system for splitting a luminous flux emitted from a light source into a measurement light and a reference light, guiding the measurement light to a subject and guiding the reference light to a reference optical system, and thereafter using a detecting means to detect the state of interference between the reference light and the measurement light reflected from the subject. This optical coherence tomography device is characterized comprising a polarization controller for modifying the polarization state of the measurement light and/or the reference light, and a control means for controlling driving of the polarization controller, the control means driving the polarization controller in a stagewise manner to adjust a drive location of the polarization controller on the basis of an interference signal outputted by the detecting means at drive locations of each of the stages, wherein the control means causes the drive amount for when the polarization controller is driven in a stagewise manner to increase at a midway stage of the stagewise driving onward on the basis of the interference signal obtained at the midway stage.
