Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical combiner for coupling lights having markedly different wavelengths. The present invention is an optical combiner which uses a gradient-index lens, for emitting, from an emission-end surface 11B, light which is incident on an incidence-end surface 11A, wherein partial regions 11A_101, 11A_102, 11A_103 at different distances z101, z102, z103 from the emission-end surface 11B of the gradient-index lens are provided in the incidence-end surface 11A of the gradient-index lens, and the wavelength collected in the optical axis 12 of the emission-end surface 11B is established in advance for each partial region 11A_101, 11A_102, 11A_103.
