Abstract:
An optical communication device according to the present invention comprises an optical switch, a wavelength management control unit and an optical switch control unit. The optical switch, which is connected to a plurality of transmission paths, outputs an optical signal inputted thereto from any one of the transmission paths to another transmission path. The wavelength management control unit dynamically allocates a wavelength depending on a destination of communication to a subscriber device. The optical switch control unit controls the optical switch to output the optical signal, which is inputted thereto from the transmission path, to a transmission path corresponding to the destination of communication that is determined by a combination of the subscriber device having transmitted the inputted optical signal with the wavelength of the inputted optical signal.
