Abstract:
Provided is an optical communication device comprising: an optical switch which is connected to a plurality of transmission lines and outputs an optical signal input from one of the transmission lines to another transmission line; a communication unit which communicates with a subscriber device without passing through the optical switch; a wavelength control unit which sets, for the subscriber device, a wavelength used for optical signal communication by communicating via the communication unit; and an optical switch control unit which controls the optical switch to input the optical signal transmitted from the subscriber device from a port to which the subscriber device is connected and output to another port connected to the transmission path according to the transfer destination on the path to the communication destination.
