Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to rapidly select a transponder pair in a node that performs communication. A node device in an optical network is provided with a plurality of transponders, enables a test signal transmitted from another node device to be simultaneously received by the plurality of transponders by branching into a plurality of test signals by a multicast optical switch, and integrates, using the multicast optical switch, and outputs a plurality of test signals from the plurality of transponders.
