Abstract:
An optical compensation device is provided. The optical compensation device comprises: a measurement unit that generates measurement data by measuring luminance of a reference point of a display panel displaying an image and at least one peripheral point spaced apart from the reference point; a camera that generates a photographed image by photographing the front surface of the display panel; and a compensation unit that calculates a scaling value of the peripheral point on the basis of the measurement data of the reference point, photograph data generated on the basis of the photographed image of the reference point, the measurement data of the peripheral point, and photograph data generated on the basis of the photographed image of the peripheral point, and generates compensation data of the peripheral point on the basis of the scaling value of the peripheral point and the photograph data of the reference point.
