Abstract:
This optical component is characterized in that: a spectral characteristics curve of a multilayer film arranged on a first surface of a plastic substrate has one maximum value at a first wavelength in a wavelength range of 380 nm to 780 nm, and one minimum value at a second wavelength within 200 nm ranging from the first wavelength to the longer wavelength side; in a wavelength range within ±25 nm from the first wavelength, the multilayer film arranged on the first surface has an average reflectance of 50 % or less; in the wavelength range within ±25 nm from the first wavelength, a multilayer film arranged on a second surface of the plastic substrate has an average reflectance of 40 % or less of that of the multilayer film arranged on the first surface; and a spectral characteristics curve of the multilayer film arranged on the second surface does not have a maximum value in the wavelength range within ±25 nm from the first wavelength.
