Abstract:
An optical computing device (100), method and system. The device (100) comprises: an operation module (110) used for modulating a first group of optical signals according to N first electric signals so as to output a second group of optical signals, modulating a third group of optical signals according to N second electric signals so as to output a fourth group of optical signals, and adjusting time delays and phases of the second group of optical signals and the fourth group of optical signals; and a beam combining module (120) used for combining the adjusted second group of optical signals and the adjusted fourth group of optical signals so as to output a fifth group of optical signals, the fifth group of optical signals being used for indicating a result of multiplication and addition operation of input data with a first weighting matrix and a second weighting matrix. The device (100) helps to improve the parallel computing capability of an optical computing system so as to further improve computing power.
