An optical connection structure (1) is provided with a first connection body (3), a second connection body (5), a positioning part (4), and a resilient part (6). The first connection body (3) has a first support part that is provided on the back end surface side of a first ferrule (11) and supports the first ferrule (11) in a first direction (X), and a first fixing part that is located on both sides of the first ferrule (11) in a second direction (Y) and formed integrally with the first support part. The second connection body (5) has a second support part that is provided on the back end surface side of a second ferrule (21) and supports the second ferrule (21) in the first direction (X), and a second fixing part that is located on both sides of the second ferrule (21) in the second direction (Y) and formed integrally with the second support part. The first fixing part of the first connection body (3) and the second fixing part of the second connection body (5) are attachable to and detachable from each other. The positioning part (4) is grasped by the first connection body (3).
