Abstract:
An optical connector cleaning tool is provided with a cleaning head that faces the lens (part to be cleaned) of an optical connector, and a cleaning cloth (3) that moves with respect to the cleaning head when in contact with the lens. The cleaning cloth (3) is formed in a band shape from a fabric (25) having multiple warp threads (28) that have the direction of movement when moving with respect to the cleaning head as the longitudinal direction. The warp threads (28) comprise first chemical fibers (31) and second chemical fibers (32). Either the first chemical fibers (31) or the second chemical fibers (32) are in a stretched state and the other chemical fibers are in a slack state. The present invention is able to provide an optical connector cleaning tool that is capable of cleaning lens-type optical connectors.
