Abstract:
This optical cross-connect device includes first through fourth optical switches (201-204) connected to first through fourth optical fiber cores (101-104) of four routes (D1-D4), and optical fibers (1012, 1013, 1014, 1023, 1024, 1034) connecting respectively between the optical switches (201-204), the optical switches (201-204) each having a first ferrule (21) which is a ferrule in which an optical fiber core (101-104) is arranged so as to be exposed on an end surface of the ferrule and in which an optical fiber core of a route is arranged, a second ferrule (24) which is a ferrule in which an optical fiber core connecting between optical switches (201-204) is arranged, and a sleeve (25) inside which end surfaces of the first ferrule (21) and the second ferrule (24) face each other and are supported along an inner wall so as to be able to rotate relative to each other.
