An optical detection module and a distance measuring device, the optical detection module (600) comprising: a photoelectric conversion circuit (610) used for converting an optical pulse signal reflected back by an object into an electrical pulse signal; N digitizing modules (620), which are connected in series or connected in parallel to the photoelectric conversion circuit (610), and which is used for separately converting the electrical pulse signal into N digitized signals, wherein N≥2, an nth digitizing module (620) comprises an nth stage amplifying circuit and an nth stage digitizing circuit, an output end of the nth stage amplifying circuit is connected to an input end of the nth stage digitizing circuit, and n=1, 2...N; and an operation circuit (630) used for determining the distance between the object and the optical detection module (600) according to the N digitized signals. The present optical detection module and distance measuring device solve the problem in which it is difficult to determine the time position of a target pulse when the measurement target distance is close, and a measurement blind area is thus generated, and achieve the accurate detection of the flight time of an optical pulse sequence.
