Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sheet-like optical device that is capable of selectively emitting light of which the direction of the optical path is changed. [Solution] An optical device (1) is provided with a first sheet (50) and a second sheet (10). The first sheet (50) extends along an in-plane direction orthogonal to the thickness direction and is configured so as to be able to electrically switch between a first state having transparency in the thickness direction and a second state having lower transparency in the thickness direction than that of the first state. The second sheet (10) has a prism surface (60) in which a slope inclined with respect to the in-plane direction is disposed along the in-plane direction, and is opposed to the first sheet (50) in the thickness direction.
