Abstract:
An optical device comprises an optical device body (2) excluding an optical system, and the optical system including a projection lens unit (3) that projects emission light exiting from the optical device body (2) onto a projection plane to display an image. Specifically, the optical device comprises an optical system (5) including: an image angle conversion unit (8) that converts an image at a prescribed angle pertaining to the emission light (Co) from the optical device body (2) to an image rotated at least 90° about the optical axis; the projection lens unit (3) arranged in front of the image angle conversion unit (8) in the light traveling direction (Fc); and a lens shift mechanism (7) that supports the projection lens unit (3) and shifts the projection lens unit (3) vertically and/or horizontally (Fh).
