Abstract:
Provided is an optical device production method which enables easy removal of bubbles in a photocurable resin composition. This optical device production method comprises: a step A in which a wall part surrounding an application region for a photocurable resin composition is formed on an optical member or a transparent panel; a step B in which the photocurable resin composition is applied to the application region; a step C in which a laminated body is obtained by adhering the optical member and the transparent panel together with the photocurable composition therebetween in a low-pressure environment in which the pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure; and a step D in which bubbles in the photocurable resin composition are removed by means of adding pressure to the laminated body. In step B, at least the photocurable resin composition on the wall part side is configured so as to be taller than the wall part, and the photocurable resin composition is applied such that the laminated body obtained in step C has a plurality of divided spaces from the bubbles formed in a thickness direction of the photocurable resin composition.
