Abstract:
This optical device (100) has: first light emission parts (1, 3); second light emission parts (2, 4); a direction conversion element (10) that has first faces (51, 53) reflecting first laser beams (21, 23) emitted from the first light emission parts (1, 3) and second faces (52, 54) reflecting second laser beams (22, 24) emitted from the second light emission parts (2, 4) and converts the traveling direction of the first laser beams (21, 23) and the traveling direction of the second laser beams (22, 24) into the same traveling direction; and a synthesizing element (6) that converts into a single beam the first laser beams (21, 23) and the second laser beams (22, 24) that have had the traveling directions converted by the direction conversion element (10), wherein the direction conversion element (10) is disposed between the first light emission parts (1, 3) and the second light emission parts (2, 4), and a conversion straight line (30) includes lines of intersection between the first faces (51, 53) and a plane including the first laser beams (21, 23) and lines of intersection between the second faces (52, 54) and a plane including the second laser beams (22, 24).
