Abstract:
In the past, the problem has existed that curing of an adhesive layer is slow when recording substrates are affixed together with a UV-curable adhesive layer and used as a double-sided optical disc. This is thought to be because outgas penetrating from the recording substrates hampered the curing reaction of the adhesive layer. As a solution, in an optical disc of the present disclosure, a gas barrier layer is provided on the affixing surfaces of the substrates and penetration of outgas from the substrates to the UV-curable adhesive layer is suppressed, whereby when the recording substrates are affixed together with the UV curable adhesive layer, the adhesive layer can be cured in a short amount of time.
