Abstract:
An optical disk used for a so-called KARAOKE apparatus (literally, empty orchestra accompaniment machine) with which a singer can sing a song holding a microphone with his or her hand accompanied by musical signals recorded in a compact disk or laser disk. According to one embodiment of the invention, the optical disk contains a synchronizing signal, a digital audio data and a subcode signal recorded in each frame. At the predetermined bits (user's bits) of the subcode signal are further recorded the codes that correspond to a hue parameter, an intensity parameter and a fade-in or a fade-out parameter. By reproducting the output from the optical disk, an illumination apparatus can be automatically controlled without manual operation.
