Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an optical element material used for infrared detection that has high far infrared transparency and durability (thermal resistance and light stability) as an optical element and excellent workability and economic advantages; a manufacturing method therefor; and an infrared optical element using same. This optical element material, which is used in devices for detecting infrared rays, is characterized in comprising a heat-curable amino resin composition configured from at least a base material and a curing agent, and in both the main chain of the base material and the main chain of the curing agent having a basic backbone comprising at least a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon.
