Abstract:
This optical element production method comprises: a step for acquiring a plurality of test images in which the spectral intensity of a first color component, the spectral intensity of a second color component within a wavelength band shorter than the wavelength band of the first color component, and the spectral intensity of a third color component within a wavelength band shorter than the wavelength band of the second color component can be individually modified; a step for changing the spectral intensity of the first color component in at least a first test image from among the plurality of test images; a step for changing the spectral intensity of the second color component in at least a second test image from among the plurality of test images; a step for acquiring, when a subject has viewed the first and second test images, the spectral intensity Rs of the first color component and the spectral intensity Gs of the second color component that satisfy prescribed test conditions; and a step for producing an optical element having an optical component that adjusts the light intensity of the first and second color components among transmitted light on the basis of the spectral intensities Rs and Gs.
