Abstract:
Provided are an optical fiber cable, a controller connected to same, and an optical interferometric range sensor in which the optical fiber cable and the controller are used, the optical fiber cable making it possible to connect, to a sub-interferometer, an appropriate second optical fiber in correspondence with a first optical fiber connected to a main interferometer. This optical fiber cable 130 is provided with a first optical fiber 131 that guides light inputted from a main interferometer 112 to a sensor head 120 and outputs light from the sensor head 120 to the main interferometer 112, and a second optical fiber 132 that propagates light inputted from a sub-interferometer 114 and outputs the light to the sub-interferometer 114, the optical path length of the first optical fiber 131 and the optical path length of the second optical fiber 132 being set such that a first optical path length routed via the main interferometer 112 and a second optical path length routed via the sub-interferometer 114 are substantially identical.
