Abstract:
An optical fiber cable (10) according to the present invention is provided with: a long pipe (11); and at least one optical fiber (12) which is held and wired inside the pipe (11). The pipe (11) is structured so as to stretch in a longitudinal direction when water pressure outside the pipe (11) changes. The optical fiber (12) is structured so as to stretch in a longitudinal direction when the pipe (11) is stretched in a longitudinal direction and the stretching of the pipe (11) is transferred to the optical fiber.
