Abstract:
An optical fiber cutter of the invention includes a fiber holder which holds a plurality of optical fibers each including a glass portion and a coated portion that covers the glass portion, an alignment member which has an insertion hole, and a blade member which moves with respect to the base in a first perpendicular direction and scratches surfaces of a plurality of glass portions. The alignment member is undetachably attached to the base. The alignment member is attached to the base to be movable in a second perpendicular direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the first perpendicular direction.
