Abstract:
An optical fiber fusion-connecting device (1) comprising: a fusion unit (3) disposed on top of a case (2) and which fuses optical fibers (F); and a windproof cover (6) for preventing the penetration of wind into the fusion unit (3). The windproof cover (6) is provided with: a blocking elastic body (63) arranged so as to block, together with a blocking elastic body (21) for the case (2), a guiding port (62) for guiding optical fibers (F) to the fusion unit (3); an impelling spring (64) for impelling the blocking elastic body (63) to the blocking elastic body (21) side; and a transfer member (65) for transferring the impelling force of the impelling spring (64) to the blocking elastic body (63).
