In the present invention, an optical fiber placement surface 15 has formed thereon width-directional position restricting sections 11a, 11b, 11c for partially restricting the position of an optical fiber tape core wire 17 in a width direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the optical fiber tape core wire. A portion other than the width-directional position restricting sections 11a, 11b, 11c serves as a width-directional position non-restricting section 13 that does not restrict the position of the optical fiber tape core wire 17 in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the optical fiber tape core wire. A pressing member 7 is formed at a portion corresponding to the width-directional position non-restricting section 13. On the other hand, the pressing member 7 is not formed at positions corresponding to the width-directional position restricting sections 11a, 11b, 11c. Thus, the optical fiber tape core wire 17 is not pressed at the width-direction positional restricting sections 11a, 11b, 11c. Portions at which the optical fiber tape core wire 17 is not pressed by the pressing member 7 are defined as non-main pressing sections.
