Abstract:
The present embodiment relates to an optical fiber line and the like, the optical fiber line being configured by TEC connecting a single-mode optical fiber having a clad containing fluorine and a large-Aeff optical fiber. The state of connection between these two types of optical fibers is set such that the connection loss expressed in dB in a base guided mode becomes 55% or less of an ideal butt loss expressed in dB at a wavelength of 1550 nm.
