Abstract:

This optical fiber probe is provided with: a probe main body 21; optical fibers 22 which are accommodated in an internal space S of the probe main body 21 and distal end portions of which are disposed on the side of the probe main body 21 closest to a detection surface P1, which is an outer surface of the probe main body 21; and a position regulating member 23. Each optical fiber 22 includes a small-diameter portion 22a on the distal end side thereof, and a large-diameter portion 22b on the rear end side. The probe main body 21 includes a bottom surface P2 which is provided on the opposite side to the detection surface P1, in the internal space S, and through-holes 31d which effect communication between the detection surface P1 and the bottom surface P2. Each small-diameter portion 22a is inserted into one of the through-holes 31d. Each large-diameter portion 22b is disposed in a flexed condition in the internal space S, with the distal end portion of the large-diameter portion 22b brought into contact with the bottom surface P2. The position regulating member 23 is provided in contact with the rear end portion of each large-diameter portion 22b, and regulates the position of each optical fiber 22 with the large-diameter portion 22b in a flexed condition.
