Abstract:
The present application discloses an optical fiber state detection method, an optical transceiver assembly, and a network element device. The method is applied to a first optical transceiver assembly in an optical fiber communication system, the optical fiber communication system further comprises a second optical transceiver assembly, and the first optical transceiver assembly and the second optical transceiver assembly are connected by means of a mode division multiplexing optical fiber. The method comprises: combining an OTDR optical carrier in a first optical fiber mode and an OSC optical carrier in a second optical fiber mode and inputting same into the mode division multiplexing optical fiber, so that the second optical transceiver assembly receives the OSC optical carrier and obtains OSC service data according to the OSC optical carrier (S100); and receiving OTDR backward scattered light of the OTDR optical carrier and obtaining OTDR service data according to the OTDR backward scattered light (S200), wherein the first optical fiber mode is orthogonal to the second optical fiber mode.
